Well, the doctors visit went very well. I am not as far along as I originally thought I was. They estimated about 4 1/2 to 5 weeks, but they want me to come back in 2 weeks to get a better look. Right now the baby is 3.3 mm long. The doc said itll grow about 1 mm every day! Isn't that crazy? Billy and I got to see the little heart beat. It was breath taking and crazy and wonderful and scary and amazing all at the same time. Billy and I couldn't stop staring at each other and smiling. It was a great feeling. I can't wait to go back in two weeks to get a better look at the little one inside of me!
We went ahead and told my mom today. That was scary, but it went very well. She was shocked and didn't believe me. Then exclaimed "That's why you didn't drink!" referring to the fact I wouldn't drink any alcohol while we were at my family reunion. She is very supportive. She isn't mad which I am so grateful for. She is definitely nervous for us but at the same time I think she is excited and happy for us. We will be telling the rest of our parents this weekend/the beginning of next week. I am so scared as to what my father is going to say. I have a feeling he is going to hate me or be very angry with me. We shall see how it goes!
