Who knew?

Billy and I went and registered at Babies r us last Sunday and at Target and Kohls on Tuesday! Who knew babies needed so many things!? My mom went with us on Sunday. It was nice having here there to help us. It was kind of overwhelming trying to pick out all of the things we should or could need to help care for our baby. Then Billy's mom went with us on Tuesday. It was fun. Just again, overwhelming.

Julie and Hannah and my mom are planning my baby shower. I picked out my invitations yesterday. They are SUPER cute. We are going to have it in the beginning of March. I figured that would give us enough time to get all the other things we still need that we may not get as gifts. It is crazy how generous people have been so far. We have gotten SO MUCH stuff just given to us. and some by people I personally have never met, just people who know my mom. It is pretty awesome.

Work has been getting so hard! Being on  my feet for six to eight hours at a time is really taking a tole on me. Both mentally and physically. My ankles and feet are always swollen, but even more so after working all day. I don't know how long I am going to be able to keep up working long shifts every single day. I hate thinking that I can't keep doing what I am doing, but then at the same time I don't want anything to happen to me or the baby by pushing myself to hard. I know I haven't reached my limit yet, but I don't know how long I can keep it up. I guess we shall cross that road when we get to it.

Any ways, I am beat and just want to sleep, or maybe watch some tv. Either way, I just want to relax. Haha. I shall update soon.

cribs and super tiny polos.

We went to the doctor last Friday. Everything looked great. I am measuring right on schedule and everything is just as it should be. The baby's heart beat sounded good. He gave the tech a little bit of a battle though. He wouldn't stay still for her to get the heartbeat at first haha. I found out that next time I have to take my glucose test. Bleh. I have been told over and over again that it is pretty dang horrible. Not looking forward to it.

Billy and I got out crib set last week and put it all on Sunday. It looks awesome!  Don't ya think?

I personally think it is fabulous! We also picked up a few little shirts and onsies. The first shirt we got (and the first shirt we have ever gotten him) is super freaking cute!
It is the tiniest little Polo I have ever seen! My heart got all mealty when i saw it! I HAD to buy. Thanks for the gift card Grandma! This is one of the things it bought from Babies r us!

Any ways, I was talking to one of my coworkers about delivery and everything. All I gotta say is that I am effing TERRIFIED of giving birth! It all just seems to scary. I think I am the most scared of the epidural though. Giant needle going into my spine sounds horrible. Keri told me it is not as bad as youd think. hopefully she is right. haha. As the day approaches closer and closer I am freaking out more and more. Who knows. hopefully it wont be as bad as I have heard it is.

One hell of a ride.

So I had a tiny bit of a scare a couple days ago. Nothing major though.
I started have contractions Tuesday morning at work. It was pretty awful pain so I left work early and went to the doctor. The doctor I saw checked everything and Little William was not on his way out or anything. He wasn't descending or anything and everything was as it should be. The doctor said it was probably because I was on my feet all morning and didn't drink enough water. So I go back to the doctor tomorrow for my regular appointment and he shall just make sure everything is still OK. So far so good, no other contractions. Just uncomfortableness! oh boy. this little boy is giving me one hell of a ride!

I looked at my belly button today. It isn't poking out yet, but I can definitely tell that it will! weird huh!?

Billy and I put the crib and changing table up on Sunday! It looks soooo good!!! And we ordered our crib set last week and it got here yesterday. So I just gotta wash everything, then I can start putting that on the crib. The crib set is browns, and blues, and whites. Super cute. It was only $90 on amazon, and I had two $25 gift cards so I only had to pay a little over 40 for it!. Yay!

Billy and I finally decided how much time I will be taking off after the baby is born. Seven weeks. As long as everything goes as planned we will have more than enough money saved up to be able to live on just one income for those weeks plus whatever we have in savings. We were grownups and did a budget and everything! So as long as we stick to that we will be fine. I feel so much better after we sat down and did our budget. It calmed me down a little bit realizing we weren't going to be in trouble financially while I took my maternity leave.

Alright well I am going to be late for work if I don't start getting ready!
