So last time I blogged (I know I am awful at keeping this up as a daily thing, but I will always update eventually) I was going to the doctor that week. Well, we have had TWO more doctors appointments since then! When we went to the first of the two, we got to see the baby again. SO much bigger! While we were looking at the baby, it did a complete turn and flipped sides. It was pretty cool. Didn't look to much like a baby, more like a teddy bear alien type thing. haha. I mean that with all the love in the world my future baby! Then we got to hear the heartbeat! It took a lot of work from the doctor. Apparently the baby wanted to be extra difficult and position itself really far back. But with some patience and effort from the doctor, we heard the heart beat! It was breath taking! I just looked up at Billy and couldn't stop smiling! I can't even describe the feelings that washed through me. All I can say is that it was pretty amazing!
We went back to the doctor two weeks after that (yesterday) for some testing. Basically they look at the folds on the back of the baby's neck and do blood work and tell me the odds of my baby having Downs Syndrome. But just from the sonogram part there is really no chance of the baby having Downs. The baby is so much bigger, again! And in the begging of the sonogram was so active! As part of the test, they need to get the baby to do this little jumping motion. So I had to cough and she would push on my belly to get the baby moving. It was so cool how much baby was moving around! Baby even started to wave! We could see its little arm just moving back and forth saying hi! Then half way through the baby grew tired of entertaining us and decided it was time to stop. Luckily they got a good view of things before hand and everything looked great! I go back in a month just for a check up and then in two months, we are hoping to see what the sex is!
My mom's boyfriends' daughter has a three year old son so they decided to give me their old infant carrier. Super exciting. Very first baby thing!! I can't wait to find out what the baby is so I can start buying clothes and what not!
When people say creating a human being is hard work, they are not joking. Holy crap! I am always so exhausted! I have never been so exhausted from just waking up in the morning and making breakfast before! Hopefully since I am starting my second trimester things will get a little easier. They say your second trimester things get better so we shall see!

Extreme Exhaustion
So the second doctor's appointment went well. Got to see the baby again. It was WAY bigger then the first time yet still SO tiny! it is crazy. I go back to the doctor this Wednesday. We are suppose to hear the heartbeat this time. I am so super excited.
Lately I have just been so incredibly exhausted! It is crazy how much pregnancy takes out of me. I had been feeling soooo sick and throwing up all the time. I don't want to jinx it, but it seems the throwing up has subsided for now, but I still have the nausea. I am a little over ten weeks. Two more weeks and I'll be out of the first trimester. I have heard that the morning sickness ends around the beginning of the second trimester.
Billy and I went to Barnes and Noble the other day and I got myself a pregnancy Journal. I have just started filling it out and so far it is pretty fun! I got "The Belly Book" I am just to excited for the pregnancy and this baby to be brought into my life. Even though I have so much awfulness at the moment (sickness, back aches, sore boobs, sore back, exhaustion) I know it will so be worth it when I can finally hold my baby. I can't wait to find out what I am having. We already have names picked out and I just want to know what name we will be using and what colors I can start putting together!
I feel so blessed to have the support of my parents and Billy's mother and sister. They are seriously the best and I am so excited that they are my family now too!
Welp, I am exhausted and pizza is on the way!
